FASHIONPLATE- EVA KIMONO AT PARM BATTERY PARK CITY
This week’s fashionplate takes place at the latest location of Parm in Battery Park City in Brookfield Place. I decided to rock our Eva lace kimono for this carb filled dinner. This location is much larger than the original Nolita spot, there isn’t really a need to make a res. We were seated promptly but after that the service slid and was a little too slow.
We started with the mozz ball which is good but didn’t come with bread, but sidenote to Parm I want the mozz sticks back on the menu. Stuck to classic red wine which was solid We also got baked clams, eggplant parm, baked ziti and chicken parm. The quality just wasn’t as amazing as the original location although one standout was I liked how they changed their eggplant parm to a bunch of thin layer reminiscent of a lasagna. I will probably stick to Nolita or the UWS Parm locations for the future. There were lots of families who live in the area there and a few people who work in the area.
See how I styled this fashionplate below.
