FASHIONPLATE- TAYLOR FLANNEL AT RAG TRADER
This week’s fashionplate features our Taylor buffalo check flannel at the garment district’s Rag Trader. Met my sister here for an end of the week catch up on a cold day, so layers were key. I got there first and settled into their tufted green banquettes. I love all the old Vogues on display and various old garment factory items, that’s what I geek out to as a fashion designer. People were just getting there for happy hour so of course I ordered a glass of Cab. Once my sister arrived we decided to split a few things. Our least favorite thing on the menu was the shaved apple salad, it wasn’t bad just a bit too salty for our taste. The fried chicken sliders were good just wish they came with more than 2. We loved the sriracha deviled eggs they had a nice quick to them. The star of the meal was the speck pizza, it was so good we forced ourselves to finish it all. Next time I’ll have to save room for dessert-drunken donuts yum. Feel free to dress casual or come in your after work garb. The crowd skews from people who work in the area and tourists. See how I styled this fashion plate below.
